Got Your Six Support Dogs has raised enough through our Capital Campaign to purchase our new facility! Now, we just need to raise funds to renovate it and sustain it so we can continue to pair veterans and individuals with PTSD with life saving support dogs.

The purpose of the Salute to Service Campaign is to raise funds to purchase a facility in which GYSSD can continue to provide specialized service dogs to veterans and first-responders suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and/or sexual trauma. We have already raised enough to purchase the facility. Now we just need to renovate it!
The goal of the campaign is to raise $750,000 to renovate and sustain the facility so that GYSSD can increase the volume of people served, expand and enhance their programs and finally have a much-needed place to call home.
The 10,334 square-foot building is located in Maryville, IL at 6 Schiber Court.
The Reason to Salute

GYSSD is in need of an official place to call home, so that we can continue to pair compassionate canines with selfless soldiers at absolutely no cost to these men and women.
With the new facility, we plan to make use of the large space by expanding our current programs and implementing new programming to grow our organization, including:
- Offer an apprenticeship program: teaching veterans and first-responders to become certified dog trainers
- Offer community dog training classes to generate a sustainable income to offset program costs;
- Have a full-time therapist on staff;
- Have a community classroom where we can partner with different veteran and mental health organizations to offer classes, such as trauma-informed yoga, art therapy, support groups, etc.
These dogs save lives.
We need your help to continue our work in giving these brave men and women their lives back. They have had our backs and now it is time that we have their backs.
